Day 4: Plan Your Website Structure & Content

Today is all about planning and preparation for your website. Just like building a house, a great website starts with a blueprint. You’ll decide on the key pages your site will include (e.g. Home, About, Services/Products, Contact, Blog, etc.) and draft the main content for each. We’ll also cover choosing a domain name for your website (ideally your personal brand name) and selecting a platform or website builder to use starting tomorrow. By the end of Day 4, you’ll have a sitemap (page list) and wireframes or content outlines for each page. This ensures that when you start designing, you won’t be staring at a blank page – you’ll have the text ready to go and a clear idea of what goes where. It’s a day of thinking through user experience: how will a visitor journey through your site? Let’s get the architecture set so building is fast and focused. 🗺️✍️
